Company party at N.C.A.A. Headquarters - DJ and up lighting by Grapevine Productions

I had the pleasure of providing the entertainment for Indiana Oxygen's 100th anniversary!
The event took place at the N.C.A.A. Headquarters in Indianapolis. Along with the music, I provided the up lighting - which later in the night, was used for dance lighting.

New Up Lighting from Grapevine (Ritz Charles)!

This past weekend I took our new up lighting system to a wedding reception held at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion in Carmel Indiana. The L.E.D. cool touch lights are all wireless and can be remotely controlled using a DMX controller. The lights were first set to match the wedding colors of Coral and Purple. The lights then changed to Pink for the Father Daughter dance and then to Blue for the Mother Son dance. The new lighting can also "dance" with the music or slowly fade in and out of any color or colors you like. Colors can include: Amber, White, Pink, Purple, Red, Orange, Green, Yellow, Gold, Blue, Turquoise - You can even adjust the shade of each color - Here is a chart that shows just some of the possibilities.

Chelsea and Justin - May 16th 2015 - Embassy Theater Fort Wayne Wedding Reception

Wedding Reception Embassy Theater Fort Wayne - Chelsea and Justin from Mark Beecher on Vimeo.

The PEOPLE at this wedding were so much fun!

Another wedding this year where the bride and groom did not want all the bells and whistles like dance or up lighting lighting, gobos, photobooth or even many of the formalities - They just wanted a great party! This was also another wedding where they wanted mostly music from the 50's to the 70's  but with a few top 40 and classic songs from the 80's and 90's sprinkled in as well. Their wedding reception will be remembered by friends and family for years to come I'm sure, and it was an honor to be a part of it.

Introduction of wedding party - Signed, sealed, delivered - Stevie Wonder
First dance - I going to be (500 miles)- Sleeping at last
Father Daughter dance - Unforgettable - Nat King Cole
Mother Son dance - A Mother's song - T. Carter Music
Cake cutting - You make my dreams come true - Hall & Oates
Last dance - At Last - Etta James

Jacqueline and Benjamin - Woodstock Country Club - March 7th 2015

If you "Google" elegant and timeless Indianapolis wedding venue, Woodstock Country Club should be listed near the top. Located right across the street from the Indianapolis Art Museum, the Woodstock Club was where Jackie and Ben celebrated their marriage in chic style - Everyone was beyond excited for these two and partied hard! What a beautiful and FUN wedding!

Kristen and Nick - October 24th 2014 - Palladium Carmel

All credit for this blog belongs to one of Indys best photography companies  (and one of my top favorites) The Brother Sister duo, Tiffany and Nate of  Nathaniel Edmunds Photography

Kristen and Nick had an intimate wedding at the magnificent Palladium in Carmel.  It was really a beautiful day for them and their guests.  The two of them are just sweet to watch…they are clearly smitten with each other.  Neither stopped smiling. The evening was equally as sweet as many of their close friends toasted to their happiness.  We are so grateful we know two new people with the last name Rowe.

Keely and Andy - January 3rd 2015 - Indiana Roof Ballroom

I could not have been happier than to start 2015 with one of the nicest couples at one of the nicest venues in town - The Indiana Roof Ballroom! These Butler grads had an amazing wedding with family and friends that came ready to celebrate! The day was drizzly but there was no way that was going to stop this couple from having a seriously rockin' party. Maybe all the energy came from the hot chocolate bar? Here are a few pics.

Jennifer and Joel - June 21st 2014 Scottish Rite Indianapolis

Jennifer and Joel fit together perfectly and I had the pleasure of providing the sound for their wedding ceremony and the music for their very fun reception at Indy's fairy tale venue, Scottish Rite Cathedral! Special thanks to photographer Kristen Hornberger for allowing the use of her photo's and to Wedding Planner and floral and decor designer Lindsey Romack of Ooh La La events for her flawless execution at tying all the details together.

The wedding ceremony was held in the South lounge with the harp music played by Elizabeth O'meara

Guests then proceeded to the mezzanine overlooking the ballroom for the cocktail hour.

At the end of the cocktail hour, guests were invited to make their way to the railing to witness Jennifer and Joel's first dance. Photo below by Grapevine (I got a lucky shot).

A fabulous dinner by Thomas catering, a gorgeous cake by Classic cakes and a fun photo booth from Indy Photobooth all awaited the bride and groom's friends and family.

Oh yeah - and lots of dancing (more pics on the way)!

At the end of the night, Jennifer and Joel departed with a sparkler send off and Joel surprised Jennifer with an awaiting carriage; just to complete the fairy tale experience!
