The wedding ceremony took place in the Columbia Club's Harrison room and then after, everyone headed into the lounge while the staff flipped the room for the reception. One party highlight includes a guest vote for the couples first dance. A ballot with three choices was provided to each table and guests were asked to vote. There were several hilarious write in votes including a song from 2 Live Crew. Another highlight includes a money bouquet that replaced the traditional flower bouquet and everyone was invited to attempt to catch it. What a sight!
Later, Stephanee wanted to pull a prank on JD. So, for the garter toss, we had the bride and 3 other ladies seated. JD was blindfolded and he was instructed to kneel down and figure out which leg belonged to his bride. However after JD was blindfolded, three of his buddies replaced the ladies in the chairs. I think after the second hairy leg JD was on to the prank. My thanks to Columbia club's wedding and catering guru A.J.
